This weekend Buzz went on his first camping trip. He definitely let all the dogs (big or small) know who was the boss. He liked being able to see all the other dogs and all the kids. He also liked the idea he got treats from some of the other campers on his walk. He got loose once and Laura had to set a world record in the sprint to catch him but overall I think he liked it. 
Well Buzz had a Birthday party yesterday and then headed off on a trip to Pennsylvania for a couple days. He does love his new birthday squeaky toys a beehive (with bees he can pull out of the hive), Brutus (so he can root on Ohio State in the NCAA tourney) and of course a Birthday cake. And of course no road trip north east in Ohio is complete without a visit to Grandpas Cheese barn. Instead of sleeping in his bed, he thinks it is a play toy which he chews on and likes to sleep with it in his mouth ... but he is willing to share if you like a slobbery wet mess. Since we are going to our friends who have a new baby (okay she is just over a year old but since we haven't been able to visit with them she is new to us), I'm sure Buzz will be excited as he loves kids.
Sometimes with Buzz you have to remind him he is a dog. The other day Laura had some milk and when she looked the other way, he finished it for her. Now he has decided he loves milk. Luckily it had no negative effects on him (and according to Vets it won't hurt dogs though they too can be lactose intolerant). He loves to shake hands (paws), sit, beg and now has added dancing to his routine but he really loves to be the king of the mountain. Wherever he goes he wants to make it to the highest point. He also loves to play hide and go seek.
Well Buzz has decided he likes the snow but doesn't like the fact someone isn't outside to play with him most of the time. He also has decided jumping on everything is a fun game. He broke the glass table and pulled all the covers off the furniture to try to entice us to go out and play with him. He also figured out he could jump on the table to get to the top of the hot tub (that is until he broke the table!) But I guess overall he is just being a puppy who has the winter blues.
He was very thankful the other day as he learned how to take the top off his treats and helped himself. He is very helpful as I took down the trampoline for the winter and he got on the decking and started jumping up and down. He couldn't understand why when it was on the ground and it didn't bounce. He also got a giant orange toy which he loves and continues to prove he is a puppy as he likes to play much more than being petted. He also is now getting ready for Christmas.
Ice Cubes, Ice Cream, Shaved Ice, Round Ice, Square Ice, Rectangular Ice and even Blue Ice. You never want to let a glass sit around with ice in it as he will knock it over to get to the ice. Ice you are drinking a glass of something with ice in it and he hears the ice clank on the side of the glass, he will jump on you and try to put his nose in the glass and get the ice cube. He waits at the refrigerator to see if we might drop him some ice. Maybe he is just getting ready for winter. He has also decided he loves to destroy any rug placed outside in the back yard.
